I flew to LA to meet up with Yan, who was there for a Latin American Insurance Agents conference at the Marina Del Rey Marriott.
May 14
Yan and I met up with Justin, Dennis, and Elaine to hang out before meeting up with My and Craig for dinner. It was such a beautiful day outside that we rented a boat in Marina Del Rey to take in some sights. We saw a few dolphins swimming not too far from the beach and a bunch of fat sea lions sunning on a bouy. Fat bastards, I'm so jealous...until they get hit by an outboard motor. So never mind. Later that evening, we met up with My and Craig in Hermosa Beach for dinner. It was good seeing them again and having to chance to talk to them. After Craig finishes up his stint in California, he's looking to transfer to the Patuxent Naval Air Station in Maryland. I hope that works out for them. It'll be cool to have her close by.
